About the City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Division
The City of Bloomington is located in Minnesota and it's where the famous Mall of America is located. Their Parks and Recreation Division has a lot to offer. The division has many different areas to it, such as an adult sports, youth and family programs, aquatics, the arts, arts in the park events, and community outreach. You get to work with many different people and get to collaborate with others in the office who may be in a different area than you. They put on amazing programs in each of the six different areas and from my experience the community really loves the programs and takes pride living in Bloomington. Having the opportunity to work for the City of Bloomington's Parks and Recreation division is a great learning experience in seeing all the different sides that parks and rec has to offer.
